For Her and Ethan


Got up at 3:15am to feed him.  That’s been the routine for the past week and a half.  Get up around 3 or 4am, feed Ethan, then work on migration and content for about an hour.  This morning was different however.   The feeling of knowing that I’m almost done, and the fact that I don’t have to go into work, was a feeling 100x better than any Redbull could ever give me.

It’s 6:20am right now and daylight just broke.  My wife lay asleep, probably half-awake from my seemingly selfish and incessant “hobby” of zero-dark thirty internet play.   God, I love her!  All she’s heard out of my mouth for, literally, the last few months is, “Primal Platoon this…Primal Platoon that…”

I’m not tired at all…just very excited about this new site.  It’s actually just about done.  I know, I know…I said that last week.  For real, that’s what I told my VP a week ago…”We’re just about done, Steve”.

Now, with all the changes I made and all the content I added, I can definitely say that it’s probably about 99% done.  If it were to go live today, I’d be 100% satisfied.  But, what I’ve been wanting to add since the inception of is/are short work-out videos.  I prefer them to be Primal Platoon-produced videos but I don’t have the time or resources for that.  I may just have to take the YOUTUBE way out.

So….the final task remaining before switching over the site is embedding videos throughout this site so it can finally be a comprehensive, one-stop-shop site for “How-to” start getting fit and eating better through a Primal-ish lifestyle.
